Sky One, Two, Three, News and Sports News were removed from the Virgin Media cable network this morning. The removal came after bosses at BskyB and Virgin couldn?t settle content fees.

Talks over contract prices broke down last week after Virgin accused BSkyB of ?bullying? and ?arrogance,? saying it was putting too high a price on the channels that broadcast top programmes.

Sky Three, Sky News and Sky Sports News could be removed from the freeview service later this year, if Ofcom allow BskyB to use its 3 freeview slots for a pay-tv service.
