BBC Newsnight 2024

On Tuesday 28th May 2024, BBC Newsnight underwent a change to the format, which came with a new set and on-air look.

The new format sees the show cut by ten minutes and shares resources and reporters with BBC News. It no longer has any dedicated Newsnight reporters.

Newsnight has also lost it’s investigative format and reverted to a studio-based debate format.
