TV Newsroom
The TV Newsroom is a website based on television news and sports coverage. We have the latest news and presentation on news networks and sports channels in the UK and US.
The site – founded by Johnnie Larkin – first launched on 3rd January 2003 as the “Sky News Appreciation Site” (skynewstribute.co.uk). A year later we changed our name to “Sky News Centre” (skynewscentre.co.uk) with a focus solely on Sky News.
In August 2005, Sky’s legal department contacted us and asked if we could make our site less-Sky News looking because viewers and the media were confusing the site as an official Sky News website.
So we launched “TV Newsroom” (www.tvnewsroom.co.uk) and incorporated all TV news media and sports channels in the UK. The site’s main domain is now tvnewsroom.website
